Import & export declarations · European Union
Ten digits right. Every declaration complete.
Send us your invoice and packing list. We classify every line to its TARIC code, apply the duties, conditions and document codes that hold on your date of import, and return a declaration with every field filled in.
Invoice lineRed wine, PGI, 0.75 l glass bottles, 12.5% vol
Chapter 22. Beverages, spirits and vinegar. The section and chapter notes decide what can be classified here before any heading is read.
Heading 2204. Wine of fresh grapes, including fortified wines; grape must other than that of heading 2009. Measures attached to the heading apply to every code beneath it.
HS subheading 220421. In containers holding 2 litres or less. The first six digits are shared by every country that uses the Harmonized System.
CN code 22042107. With a protected geographical indication (PGI). The EU Combined Nomenclature, where the EU sets its duty rates.
TARIC digits 00. No further EU subdivision of this CN code, so the measures below apply to it as a whole.
What the code decides
One wrong digit changes the duty, the paperwork and the checks.
A TARIC code is the key that unlocks every measure on a product. We read them all for your goods, origin and date, so nothing is missed at the border.
The rate you pay
Third-country duty, preferential rates for your origin, and any anti-dumping or additional duties tied to an additional code.
Certificate and document codes
The codes for licences, certificates and exemptions that the declaration must cite, and the conditions each one satisfies.
Prohibitions and controls
Sanctions, import and export controls, veterinary and plant checks, and the countries each one covers or excludes.
Supplementary units
Litres, pairs, kilograms net or number of items. Each line is declared in the unit its code requires.
Tariff quotas
Order numbers for reduced-rate quotas when your goods and origin qualify, so you claim the lower rate.
The reasoning, in writing
Each classification comes with the legal notes and binding tariff rulings it rests on, ready if customs ask.
How it works
From invoice to finished declaration.
You send the documents you already have. We return a declaration you can lodge, or hand straight to your broker.
Send your documents
Commercial invoice, packing list and any product specs. Spreadsheets, PDFs or your ERP export all work.
Every line classified
Each product is placed in the nomenclature down to ten digits, checked against the chapter and section notes and against EU binding tariff information rulings.
Measures applied
We collect every measure for the code and its parent headings, filtered to your origin country and the date your goods arrive.
Declaration returned
A complete set of declaration data, with duty calculated and document codes listed, plus a note explaining each classification.
